Private by default, with clear exceptions
ViewFraming is designed to keep your notes, documents, conversation transcripts, screen context, and session logs local to your Mac by default. Local capture, transcript, document, and guidance history are primarily stored on your device so you stay in control of sensitive meeting material.
Some features require cloud processing when you choose to use them. Those exceptions include account authentication, billing, managed AI routing, app telemetry needed to run the service, and optional context search that you explicitly connect or enable.
Account, billing, and service data
To operate ViewFraming, we collect the minimum service data needed for login, entitlement checks, support, fraud prevention, and billing accuracy:
- Account info - email, name, authentication state, and device identifiers used for sign-in and device limits.
- Billing records - plan, credit, checkout, renewal, portal, refund, and payment status metadata. Third-party payment processors handle checkout and billing portal flows. We do not receive your full card number.
- Basic service records - session timestamps, active-session state, credit usage, app version, tier, route eligibility, and backend logs needed to keep accounts, credits, and support workflows reliable.
- Landing analytics - we use privacy-preserving landing analytics with session recording disabled and page text masked to understand aggregate website usage without collecting page text typed or viewed by visitors.
AI provider and model routing
You can use ViewFraming Auto or other managed model routes, connect a supported provider, or bring your own API key where the app supports it. Managed requests are sent through ViewFraming infrastructure and routed to configured model providers without exposing the behind-the-scenes routing stack on this page.
BYOK or connected-provider requests may be forwarded through our backend only to forward the request to the provider you selected, enforce account limits, apply routing, redact credentials from logs where practical, and return the model response to your app. Provider-side processing is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy practices.
For AI routing requests that pass through ViewFraming infrastructure, we do not store your meeting content, prompts, transcripts, screen context, documents, or AI responses in persistent ViewFraming storage. This transient routing exists to secure AI usage, enforce account limits, support internal operations, and deliver requests to the selected provider - not to collect your content.
Optional context search
If you authorize local folders, notes, exports, or other sources for context search, ViewFraming may upload user-authorized context sources to a secure search indexing service so answers can retrieve relevant background during opted-in requests. This feature is not used by default for every answer. The backend scopes indexed items to your authenticated account, enforces per-user limits, and uses retrieved snippets only as untrusted background context.
Context-search records may include source IDs, titles, local paths, content hashes, status, and the submitted text needed for indexing. You can delete indexed sources or all indexed context through app controls where available, or by contacting us.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted third-party services for infrastructure, authentication support, payments, analytics, AI routing, search indexing, and model processing. Each provider operates under its own terms and privacy policy.
We choose providers with strong security practices, but we cannot control their independent systems, retention rules, or policy changes. Users who need stricter control should use provider choices and local-only workflows that match their own compliance requirements.
Data deletion
You can delete local app data at any time from Settings > About > Reset All Data. To request account deletion or server-side data deletion, email hello@viewframing.com. Some billing, security, and compliance records may be retained where required for legitimate business, legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
What ViewFraming is
ViewFraming provides AI Meeting Agents for live guidance and roleplay across calls, meetings, and high-stakes conversations. The app can listen to active calls, read relevant screen context, help you practice spoken answers, and surface concise suggestions when pressure is high.
The service is a productivity and coaching tool. It does not guarantee better call outcomes, business decisions, or relationship consequences, and it is not legal, financial, medical, employment, or compliance advice.
Use At Your Own Risk
You use ViewFraming entirely at your own discretion and risk. We provide the tool as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:
- Call outcomes, business decisions, or relationship consequences
- How you choose to use the coaching suggestions during or after conversations
- Any violation of your employer's, client's, other participants', or platform's policies
- Loss of data on your device
It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the rules of any call, meeting, or conversation you participate in.
Consent and acceptable use
You are responsible for knowing when you must disclose or obtain any consent required for audio capture, transcription, screen context, or AI assistance. Do not use ViewFraming where doing so would violate law, platform rules, workplace rules, confidentiality duties, or another participant's rights.
- Do not use ViewFraming to harass, deceive, impersonate, stalk, monitor, or harm others.
- Do not use ViewFraming to make unlawful, discriminatory, or automated decisions about people.
- Do not upload secrets, regulated data, or third-party confidential material unless you have the right to process it with the selected provider and feature.
Account Rules
- No abuse of infrastructure. You may not attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with our services, AI models, or backend systems.
- We can suspend or ban accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion, with or without notice.
Subscriptions, credits, and limits
Public plans are credit-based unless a special account state says otherwise. Free includes 4 credits per month. Basic includes 6 credits per month. Pro includes 20 credits per month and may include a trial offer when shown at signup or checkout. Monthly credits reset by cycle and do not roll over unless a written offer says otherwise.
- One credit generally covers one eligible guidance or roleplay session after the backend charging threshold is reached.
- Free and Basic include a 60-minute session limit. Pro includes a 90-minute session limit. These limits are not applied when you use your own AI.
- Credit packs may be offered to active Basic and Pro subscribers when configured. Pack availability, amount, and price can vary by plan.
- Lifetime, promotional, or legacy access may exist for some accounts. If your account shows one of those states, the displayed account entitlement controls your access.
- We may change pricing, credit amounts, model access, routes, limits, and plan features with reasonable notice. Changes apply prospectively unless required by law or abuse-prevention needs.
Payments, cancellation, and refunds
Subscriptions renew until canceled. Canceling stops future renewal at the end of the current billing period unless the checkout or billing portal states otherwise. Web purchases and billing portal access are handled through third-party payment processors.
Refunds are not automatic unless required by law. If your first paid charge was recent and usage is low, email hello@viewframing.com within 14 days and we will review it.
AI output and provider terms
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, biased, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before relying on them. If you connect your own provider, bring your own key, or select a managed route, you are also responsible for following the applicable provider terms and for any provider-side charges or limits tied to your account or key.
Age Restriction
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use ViewFraming.
Intellectual Property
ViewFraming and its branding, code, design, website, and service infrastructure are owned by ViewFraming or its licensors. You retain rights to your own source material and outputs to the extent allowed by applicable law and provider terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ViewFraming shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law in the jurisdiction where you reside.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
